Join us as we celebrate the 7th edition of the Ngalabi Short Film Festival. We will be screening short films from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Tunisia, USA, Nigeria, Ghana and Germany. We are also partnering with Shorts, Shorts and Shots to deliver a dynamic and fantastic end to the festival.

Whispers from Vera @20: A Celebration

Goretti Kyomuhendo, novelist and director at African Writers Trust will be launching her novel, Whispers from Vera. First published in 2002, Whispers from Vera has been described by readers as timely and timeless. In this reworked edition to mark the memorable, page-turning journey that explores themes of womanhood, romance, betrayal … as relevant today as when the novel was first published. The book will be available on sale at UGX 50,000.

The exhibition aims at an artistic stimulation of active citizenship, a more humane political process by showing a curious local phenomenon of the design, vandalism, decay, and placement of the election poster within an attempt at democracy, the maintaining and re-formulating the arrangement of the global social region we inhabit, administered as Uganda.
