Preparing for Your German Language Examination? Explore the Available Preparation Materials!
Home »

Preparing for a German language examination requires more than attending classes and learning vocabulary and grammar. Familiarity with the examination format, question types and expectations is equally important. Access to appropriate preparation materials allows learners to practise their language skills, understand how examinations are structured and build confidence ahead of the actual assessment.
Beyond examination preparation, these materials also provide valuable resources for independent learning and self-study. Learners can use them to practise at their own pace, reinforce what they have learned in class, identify areas that require further attention and develop greater confidence in using the German language. Whether used alongside formal lessons or independently, the materials offer an opportunity to take a more active role in one’s language learning journey.
To help learners and other interested participants make effective use of these resources, Goethe-Zentrum Kampala invites you to a free User Orientation on Exam Preparation Materials, taking place from 10–13 November 2026 at the Goethe-Zentrum Kampala Library.
The orientation will introduce participants to the available preparation materials and demonstrate how to access, navigate and use them effectively, both for examination preparation and independent study. Through guided demonstrations and practical exercises, participants will have an opportunity to explore the resources and familiarise themselves with their use.

The four-day orientation will cover the A1, A2, B1 and B2 German language levels, with each level assigned a dedicated day. Participants should attend the session corresponding to their respective examination level.
