Christmas Book Fair

Our year ended with our yearly Christmas Book Fair. The first edition of this event happened in 2021. It shall bring together publishers, literature associations/ communities, individuals and all who are interested in the art of reading. Further, we want the book fair to be a platform for our close partners to connect, showcase their latest publications, and discuss on different themes. Moreover, local arts & crafts people came through and showcased their latest books, paintings, candles, Christmas cards, coffee, etc. It is always good opportunity to find Christmas gifts here for your loved ones!

This year we had comedy performances, poetry and music performances from Ladu Poetry House poets and a panel discussion about ‘Authentic Storytelling’ and ‘Children’s Books’. Our DJ for the day was DJ Sal. She amazed us with Christmas songs from all over the world as well as the latest hits.

All of this happened at the Naguru Forrest Cottages and was rounded up by a silent pool party. Two DJs were giving us a special music treat as the audience can choose between them. The highlight was the famous German ‘Glühwein’. It is a typical drink that people take during their visit at one of the German Christmas Market.
